Is dit ‘s werelds slechtste nanny?

Als ouders is het soms lastig om je kind alleen thuis te laten. Toch moet iemand de boodschappen doen, moet er gewerkt worden etc. etc. Wat doe je dan? Juist, je huurt een nanny in. De Engelse krant Dailymail schrijft er hetvolgende over:

‘Russian parents who noticed their two-year-old son had become shy and withdrawn used a hidden camera to discover their new nanny was beating him and locking him in a room.

Mother Julia Gotz, 32, installed the surveillance system after becoming suspicious that changes in her son Vladislav’s behaviour were linked to the way nanny Galina Sicheva, 45, was treating him.

The hidden camera installed at the family home in Novo in Krasnodar Krai state showed Sicheva repeatedly beating Vladislav, screaming at him for crying, and locking him in his bedroom for long periods as a punishment.

Ms Gotz reported Sicheva to the police, with the nanny claiming she had beaten the two-year-old because she was under stress and becuase she wanted to make sure he grew up correctly, adding ‘I love this little fellow as if he was my own son.’

But the nanny’s apology was rejected by Ms Gotz who said: ‘The woman caught on camera was a different woman to the one we saw when she was with our son and we were there.’
