Beyoncé staat niet alleen bekend om haar fenomenale zangkunsten, nee ook haar vormen weten menig man gek te maken. Het Australische architectenbureau Elenberg Fraser heeft plannen onthuld om een wolkenkrabber in Melbourne te bouwen die is geïnspireerd op de bekende rondingen van Jay-Z’s echtgenote. In de video “Ghost” is te zien hoe Beyoncé met slechts een wrap om haar lichaam danst, iets soortgelijks moet dit 68-verdiepingen tellende gebouw ook bewerkstelligen.
“The complex form – a vertical cantilever – is actually the most effective way to redistribute the building’s mass, giving the best results in terms of structural dispersion, frequency oscillation and wind requirements,” aldus de architecten. “For those more on the art than science side, we will reveal that the form does pay homage to something more aesthetic – we’re going to trust you’ve seen the music video for Beyoncé’s Ghost.”
Wanneer het concept gebouwd gaat worden is nog onbekend.
