Nike’s nieuwe HQ bevat meer dan 3.2 miljoen hectare

Nike World Headquarters heeft de plannen onthuld voor de uitbreiding in Beaverton. Het grootste sportmerk ter wereld gaat een kleine 3.2 miljoen hectare gebruiken om haar personeel te faciliteren. Het zal in dit HQ zijn waar Nike haar innovaties ontwikkelt én test.

“In addition to new office spaces, the expansion will support a variety of mixed-use activities to further embrace the spirit of collaboration on which Nike products so heavily rely. The new, LEED-certified structures will be made accessible to preexisting areas through open green spaces, pathways and courtyards. Several homages will be made to Nike’s namesake, including a beacon and its extensions at the campus center.”

Het project wordt onder leiding van ZGF Architects, SRG Partnership en Skylab Architecture uitgevoerd.
