Kijk geen porno op je Android-telefoon!

Ja kleine boef, wees gewaarschuwd. Mocht jij een fervent porno-kijker en dit zelfs doen op je Android telefoon dan ben je bij deze het zakje. Ongetwijfeld heb je dan ook wel pop-ups gezien terwijl jij net je favoriete filmpje opende. Zonder na te denken klikte je ze weg én een paar dagen later is je hele telefoon op lockdown. Ra ra hoe kan dat?

Volgens Metro:

“Hundreds of porn apps on Android are infecting users with lock screen apps which could be very difficult to remove. The apps could eventually be used to steal data, or money, researchers believe.

Security researcher Alex Dubrovsky of Dell has seen a lock-screen app spread via porn apps for Android.

Infected phones are left locked up, with users unable to access it – although it’s fairly easy to get around at present.

Dubrovsky says, ‘We have found over a 100 different apps that contain this malware and suspect that the authors behind the apps are gearing up for a much larger more deadly assault.”
