Monster Loch Ness gevonden?

Hé hé, eindelijk is het Monster van Loch Ness a.k.a. Nessie gevonden. Duizenden verhalen, ontelbare onduidelijke foto’s en traditionele geruchten gingen al eeuwen in de rondte over het mythologische wezen. Eindelijk, met de komst van de sonar is Nessie bevestigd in de buurt van het Urquhart Castle. Althans, dat vermoeden de bemanningsleden van The Jacobite Queen…

Onlangs werd op Apple Maps Nessie al vanuit de lucht gespot, maar nu heeft het passerende schip het monster (hoogstwaarschijnlijk/vermoedelijk/misschien/het zou kunnen…) op de sonar aangetroffen. Volgens de kapitein van het cruiseschip is het één van de meest opmerkelijke beelden die hij ooit op de sonar heeft aangetroffen.

‘The Jacobite Queen spends every day sailing up and down the loch with the sonar on, and this reading is the most unusual we have seen for quite some time. It’s impossible to tell what we’ve picked up here, but along with those satellite images, you can’t help feeling that reports of the Loch Ness Monster’s demise may be premature. Nessie captures the imagination of people all over the world and, if anything, the speculation around lack of recent sightings has increased that interest.’
