Stefan Janoski en zijn succes voor Nike

Het grote brein achter de Nike SB-collectie is professioneel skateboarder Stefan Janoski. In samenwerking met Nike creëerde hij de supervette én en van de meest verkochte modellen van Nike. In de laatste episode van “Footnotes” vertelt Janoski over het plotselinge succes van zijn schoen.

“I wanted function over protection, Companies made amazing skate shoes before they knew they were making skate shoes. Then when they decided they wanted to make skate shoes they’d add stuffing to the tongue, padding up the bottom, and basically just take all the good parts about the shoe and ruin it.”
