Microsoft Holographic – het gaat gebeuren!

Het is de toekomst, of eigenlijk alles wat wij willen zien in de toekomst: hologrammen. Hoe gaaf moet het zijn om in een virtuele wereld rond te lopen, spellen te spelen, video’s te checken, virtuele elementen te creëren, je dagelijkse leven ermee versoepelen etc. Windows is al een tijd bezig met de ontwikkeling van hologrammen bij slechts het dragen van een bril (HoloLens). Microsoft zelf noemt het ‘The future of computing.’

Op de presentatie van Microsoft werden de eerste beelden al gepresenteerd. Imagine:

With Windows Holographic, Microsoft hopes to help people train to do surgery, learn on-the-go, play immersive games, and blend their real and virtual worlds in new and creative ways.

Microsoft says Windows Holographic will also provide a platform for people to build things like toys, gadgets, and even devices. You can create objects in a 3D space, which will behave just like 3D objects when you interact with them through Microsoft’s headgear. You can then 3D print those holographic objects you just made!
